First Church of God in Christ-Graham Temple was founded by a few families that migrated to Minnesota in support of Bishop Charles Harrison Mason, who founded the Church of God in Christ , Inc. in 1907.

On December 19, 2022, Elder Tierre A. Webster was appointed the pastor and officially installed in 2023 by Bishop Fred Willis Washington, Minnesota Ecclesiastical Jurisdictional prelate of the Church of God in Christ.

First Church is a congregation that is being revitalized after the realties of COVID and the pastoral transition of Elder Hoarce Hughes. Pastor Webster envisions it continuing to have a local and global reach represented of an ethnically diverse membership.
